Castaway Cay

Castaway Cay invites cruisers to enjoy balmy tropical weather and world-class recreation on a Bahamian oasis with signature Disney hospitality. After disembarking on Castaway Cay, you can obtain beach towels and use your convenient Key to the World cards for retail transactions on the island. Everything needed for the perfect beach getaway is here, from lounge chairs and beach umbrellas to tasty food and family-friendly entertainment.

Island Preservation

Disney Cruise Line does its part to preserve this pristine island with clear turquoise waters, white-sand beaches, and swaying palm trees. Castaway Cay researchers are restoring the health of coral reefs by transplanting long-spined sea urchins and fostering their growth. Disney Cruise Line Crew Members help protect and monitor endangered loggerhead sea turtle nests on Castaway Cay.

Solar panels in backstage areas of Castaway Cay are used to fuel water heaters for bathing, dishwashing, and laundry for Crew Members living on the island. Additionally, Disney Cruise Line recycles 7,000 pounds of used cooking oil each week to power a fleet of Bahamas Waste Management vehicles in Nassau.

Newest Tier of Castaway Club: Pearl

For nearly two-and-a-half decades, members of the Castaway Club have played an integral role in the Disney Cruise Line story. The new membership tier was named "Pearl" to honor the valued relationship Disney has formed with its guests over the years and is inspired by the time it takes for a pearl to be formed in nature. Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point offers a window into the rich culture, warm hospitality, and breathtaking natural beauty of The Bahamas. Dig your toes into the blush-sand shoreline, dive into the vivid blue waters, and be mesmerized by stunning vistas of the shimmering Caribbean Sea, stretching endlessly into the horizon.

• Cabanas: Nestled along the sand dunes of Serenity Bay, the vibrantly colored architecture of the Serenity Bay Cabanas matches the Mabrika Cove Cabanas, which sit across Disney Lookout Cay at the arrival point of the destination.
• Local Art: The bright turquoise ocean here in Eleuthera is beautiful, yes, but don?t forget to look up while you?re exploring Disney Lookout Cay. Art from talented, local Bahamian artists will take shape throughout all of the spaces at the destination, including intricate wood carvings inspired by artist Andret John and colorful murals by painter Dorman Stubbs, as seen here.
• True-True Too BBQ: True-True Too BBQ is a beautiful example of the architecture designed to look like oversized seashells scattered across the shores of Disney Lookout Cay. These uniquely designed dining pavilions will offer shade from your day of adventures on the Nature Trail or the beach, serving up views of Bahamian art, nature, and of course, delicious lunch!
• Tram Stop: Another early sight of Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point is one of the tram stops. This space will soon be filled with the bright colors that will light up the destination, inspired by the warmth of Bahamian art and culture. Expect hair braiding, merchandise, and lots of fun.
