Princess is pleased to announce an update to our deposit policy, effective October 15, 2025.
Starting on this date, Princess is expanding the types of fares which default to a non-refundable deposit. Deposits are paid within 3 days and are non-refundable, unless upgraded to a refundable deposit at the time of booking (additional fees apply). For added flexibility, a refundable deposit option is available on select fares at the time of booking, allowing guests to select the option that best suits their needs. See details in FAQs.
As part of this launch, non-refundable deposit amounts are currently being promoted at half price, making it easier for guests to secure their future sailings. This policy applies to all future sailings and is available to legal residents of North America.
Please note: This change applies to new bookings only, made on or after October 15, 2025.
Additionally, these policy updates go live on 9/2/26 for new bookings on all voyages. (Not just those with sail dates 1/1/27 and beyond as previously stipulated.)
Cancellation Policies are subject to change by the cruise line. For the most current Princess Cruises and Refund Policies, please refer to the Princess Cruises website or a Princess Cruises brochure.
